Claire Yurika Davis, a London-based womenswear designer whose clothes are inspired by her dual British-Japanese heritage, established her own brand HANGER in 2012 after graduating in Fashion Design at the University for the Creative Arts.

Davis describes her style as ‘graphic’ with a ‘bit of a sci-fi edge’ and all her pieces are designed in London, using largely renewable fabrics. The brand’s naturally edgy and sexy aesthetic won her the Future of Fashion award in 2014, and she later received the ASOS Fashion Discovery honour in 2016. HANGER is now stocked at major retailers including Selfridges and Urban Outfitters.
